Environmental Policy

Environmental Philosophy

As a member of society that provides space equipment and their utilization technologies, NEC Space Technologies, Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as "the Company") respects the natural environment, and through enterprising corporate activities that are environmentally considerate, it reduces the impact on the global environment and contributes to the realization of a sustainable society.

Action Guidelines

  1. Promote environmental performance in terms of resource and energy conservation, waste reduction and environmental risk measures in order to minimize the impact on the environment of all corporate activities, products, and services.
  2. Roll out environmental conservation activities based on an environmental management system, implement continuous improvement and work to prevent pollution.
  3. Comply with environment-related laws and regulations and other requirements agreed upon by the Company.
  4. Clearly specify environmental objectives and targets for environmental conservation, and periodically review these objectives and targets according to the status of activities in this area.
  5. Establish an environmental management organization and a management system, clearly assign responsibilities, and always maintain that system in an optimum state.
  6. Through education and awareness development, broadly disseminate our environmental policy to all employees of the Company and all the people who work for the Company.
  7. Disclose our environmental policy to parties outside the Company upon request.
