With over fifty years of experience, NEC Space Technologies, Ltd. has developed and manufactured satellite equipment not only for Japanese customers, but also for other customers around the world. We have supplied equipment for more than 400 satellites and our products have been chosen by many customers in over 30 countries. Our proven reliable technology makes us a very trusted company and we also continue to challenge cutting-edge technologies. For instance, we have recently started to supply advanced new space equipment for small satellites of mass less than 200kg.

Equipment for Launch Vehicles

Supplied avionics for over fifty types of launch vehicles

With over sixty years of experience, NEC Space Technologies, Ltd. has developed and manufactured various avionics for more than 15 types of launch vehicles, starting with supplying the first telemetry transmitters for the K (Kappa) launch vehicle in 1956.
Currently, we have manufactured essential avionics such as Data Acquisition Unit, Telemetry Transmitters and antennas, for Japanese launch vehicles such as H-IIA/H-IIB, and Epsilon.

We have also developed telemetry transmitters and antennas for the new flagship H3 launch vehicle. Furthermore, we have a role of development of avionics. telecommunication subsystem including transmitters and antennas, and electrical power subsystem for the Epsilon S launch vehicle.
